BAJA TACOS

Preparation

  1. Step 1

    Open the tortillas. Place in an unoiled frying pan on open heat and warm until start to lightly toast, about 2-3 minutes.

  2. Step 2

    Open the sardines into a small bowl. Mash lightly with a fork.

  3. Step 3

    Divide the sardines out between four tacos. Add a tablespoon of sauerkraut to each.

  4. Step 4

    Season with mayonnaise, a squeeze of lime and chopped chives.

Ingredients

Yield: 2 to 4 servings

  • 1 package corn tortillas

  • 1 jar Sauerkraut

  • 1 can spicy sardines (*recommend Porthos in olive oil with spices)

  • Chives

  • Japanese mayonnaise

  • Lime wedges, for serving
